The Come-Join-Us Sunday School Class is made of middle-age adults. We use lessons written by James W. Moore. Recent titles include When All Else Fails, Read the Instructions and Some Folks Feel the Rain, Others Just Get Wet. The entire class participates in the discussion.
Our class supports such projects as Hanging of the Greens and supporting members in mission trips to Haiti. We serve Sweetheart Dinners to other Sunday School Classes. Our members are also active in the Church Choirs and other work of the congregation. Please join us for life-changing fellowship.
The Epworth Men’s Sunday School Class is comprised of men in their middle to elder years. However, age is not important, and men of all ages are welcome to be a part of our fellowship. Our studies each Sunday morning are from the International Lesson Bible Study. Each lesson helps us to apply the truths of the Bible to our everyday lives. The lessons reinforce our aim of learning how to become and remain better Christians.
Our discussion times are very productiveand thought-provoking. We leave our sessions each Sunday morning with inspireed and re-dedicated to bring honor and glory to God in all we say and do and to share the Good News of Jesus’ love and salvation for all.
Our Class meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Please come and enjoy our fellowship with God and with each other.
Mary-Martha is an all-women’s class taught by a superb teacher who researches her topics thoroughly and encourages discussion. The class uses the Biblically-based International Lesson Series. The lesson theme changes each quarter. Class members range in age from 60 to 80 years. In addition to Sunday School fellowship, the class also meets two or three times a year for fellowship.
The Builders Class is comprised of members from a broad range of ages and occupations. Couples make up the majority of the class members. A wide variety of topics are discussed. Recent topics have included Christian marriage, parenting, and family life. The class also uses study guides by Max Lucado. ;The class has lively discussions and enjoy fellowship together. Sometimes a class member will get in early enough to get coffee and tea started.
Grades 7-12: This junior- and high-school-aged class studies a variety of topics that brings biblical principles to where “the rubber meets the road” of teen life, concerns and spiritual growth. This is a laid-back class that discusses faith questions, school issues, parents and more. This class recently moved into a new room that was designed and decorated by the youth.
Grades 5-6, 3-4, 1-2, and Pre-Kindergarten: These four elementary-aged classes are taught with the Biblically-based United Methodist Sunday School curriculum. Each Sunday the students learn a Bible lesson which is reinforced through written activities, worksheets, and take-home pamphlets. Most of the classes also make crafts. Each class is taught by a well-qualified, dedicated teacher.
